Greater SSE classification in the Roman River Valley, subject to maximum public access.
The Western Relief Road to be subject to 30 MPH speed limit with pedestrian crossings.
NO development acceptable without exclusion of through traffic from existing community of Stanway

Summary:

I understand that the Fiveways Fruit Farm development is part of the CBC Local Plan.

Is it possible to retain the existing mature hedge in Heath Road? If removed, the existing houses will look out onto a 500 home development. I am also concerned that if the new estate is built right up to the Heath Road footpath (as it has been at Tollgate), our country lane will be become another urban street.

I hope that the hedges can be retained and developed to maintain the natural beauty of Heath Road for old and new residents alike.

A robust transport plan needs to support this with attention given to a spine road through the site to alleviate traffic on existing village roads and pressure to be taken away from the Fiveways junction-an accident black spot which needs to be resolved prior to development.. The spine road needs to link in with the western by-pass and the retail parks off Peartree Rd.
Existing mature hedges and trees adjacent to existing properties need to be protected
