Representation: I object to these planning applications for Dawes Lane and Brierley fields areas for the reasons shown above.

Original submission

I believe this planning application hastaken no account of:
Infrastructure

350 homes will equate to approx. 1000 new residents that is an extra 11% of population
Doctors surgery has no capacity for existing residents let alone new ones
No Police presence on the island and diificult for policing in general
Roads would need upgrading to allow extra residents access to homes and amenities
Parking is a major existing issue n the island and will only get worse
Caravan parks are expanding. Needs consideration

Environmental

Plans for Bradwell B means that island evacuation plans need to be taken into account
Water and sewerage systems are old and would need major upgrading to support new load
The sewerage issues are already impacting local fishermen and particularly the oyster business
Strood single road, makes the island vulnerable to traffic problems at the moment. Will only get worse with more residents.
