Original submission

Please consider the following objections:
1 Water run off/flooding. The properties of Hillview Close are already at risk of flooding (see environmental risk assessment in planning office). Already this year the brook has been high and threatened this property as reported to the environmental agency. If the land is built on how will this improve or protect the properties in question?
2 There is already going to be an increase in traffic coming into the village via Fingering Hoe Rd for the development in the Quays and this will increase traffic on the Rowhedge Rd.
3 Where will the provision of a footpath be located as Hillview Close is bounded by the Brook? Hillview is a quiet cul-de-sac location and virtually crime free. Opening this up to a foot path would give access to anyone from the surrounding area.
4 The village has already been developed for housing on the brownfield site of the Quays.
5 Decrease in property value. This home was bought because of its quiet and field outlook. I have it on authority from estate agent valuation that the field view adds £10'000 to the property value .

8 Lack of shopping facilities
9 Loss of prime farming land
