Representation: In brief the impact of developments of this size is too much for Mersea to comfortably cope with.

Original submission

I object to the proposed new developments on Mersea on the basis that Mersea struggles to cope with the amount of people who live here already.

The population is already greatly increased in the summertime with visitors and people staying at the caravan sites. These new developments will compound pressure on the school, the doctors and dentists, the availability of parking in the village and in the hard.

The access to the Brierley Paddocks site is proposed to go through private land which is wholly unacceptable. The amount of traffic these developments will push down Dawes Lane will overwhelm a road totally inadequate for that volume of traffic.
