Representation: To summarize we have no full time emergency services.
Too much burden on our already struggling health care and schools.
Infrastructure is unsuitable for further vehicles.
No out of season local jobs.
No suitable housing for the young or old that have been living on the island all their life.
Evacuation policy when considering Bradwell B???
Terrible bus transportation, especially when they drop old and young off the Island at high tide to walk the remainder of the way.

Original submission

I wish to strongly object to the proposed plans for 350 new homes on the Island.
Our infrastructure is unable to cope as it is, let alone the impact on the health care and schools on the Island.
If we were to have another serious accident like the incident of the steam engine when it fell off its transporter, at high tide, how would the emergency services cope? I understand 7 land ambulances and 2 helicopters were brought in. These figures do not include police and fire engines.
We have the fantastic part time fire fighters on the Island but no police or ambulance stationed here.
The sewage and water works are unable to cope with the current occupation level. The roads are in an appalling state.
And I have not even started on the future plans for Bradwell B power station. How would an extra 6 or 700 people plus evacuate the Island? We do not want a bridge either.
