Representation: 1. Insufficient doctors for another 1000 people.
2. Dawes Lane is not suitable for the increased volume of traffic.

Original submission

The addition of 350 houses, 1000 people, will cause a significant overload on the doctors surgery. The list of registered patients is already being cut in an effort to reduce the overload. An additional 1000 people cannot be catered for without increasing the number of doctors and their facilities.
Secondly the main access to the island for both sites will be via Dawes Lane. This is a narrow road with a dangerous access onto the East Mersea Road, especially in the Summer when the crops in the field obscure the view of fast moving tourists visiting the Caravan sites. This road is not suitable for this increased volume of traffic.
