Dear Sirs

re: Mersea Island

Mersea Island is far too small for 350 homes, a thousand plus people, infrasturcture certainly cannot cope when you take in the enormous increase for an island far to small. The school over filled. Doctors Surgery great difficulty in securing an appointment,
Dentist likewise. The emergency services bearing in mind we have no Police Station, A hospital many miles away , and a very elderly, disabled population. These needs are serious.
The Fire Brigade, a lot of properties at risk, bearing in mind The Strood and the tides can

delay any help. Anglian Water sewage systen at full ca12a. cfty. What about the sewage, our drains

are constantly blocked and require immediate attention. Plus the enormous number of holidaymakers who spend several months here with various members of their families. The new proposed
Bradlwell, am sure that adds to our problems. Please give this Island a lot of thought.

Yours faithfully,
f ,
/ Mr L.J.Roberts and Mrs. A.Roberts.
