Representation: There is evidence available of 3580 dwellings to date on Mersea Island plus caravan sites and houseboats which are all 12 month residential homes, therefore we already have more houses than our quota suggests.also the 2 suggested sites are green belt which I believe are the last areas allowed to be built on ?so why not choose ugly brown sites instead? Not to mention the doctors,dentists,schools,lack of policing all of which would be swamped with approx 1000 extra people and so many more cars too.
